PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release film for an antistatic surface protective film and an antistatic surface protective film causing little contamination on an adherend and having excellent antistatic performance on peeling and no degradation with time.SOLUTION: A release film 5 for an antistatic surface protective film is provided, which can transfer an antistatic agent to a surface of an adhesive layer 2 in an antistatic surface protective film having the adhesive layer 2 formed on one surface of a base film 1, and which comprises a release agent layer 4 containing an antistatic agent deposited on one surface of a resin film 3. The release agent layer 4 is formed from a resin composition comprising a release agent essentially comprising dimethyl siloxane, a polyether-modified silicone as a silicone compound that is liquid at 20°C, and an antistatic agent. When the release film 5 for an antistatic surface protective film is laminated on the surface of the adhesive layer 2 via the release agent layer 4, the release film transfers the antistatic agent in the release agent layer 4 to the surface of the adhesive layer 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
