PURPOSE:To reduce noise in internal-combustion engine, by providing a detecting means for detecting variations in torque generated from the engine, and a control means for controlling engine accessories in accordance with the torque variations, thereby it is possible to prevent excessively torsional vibration from being generated. CONSTITUTION:An internal-combustion engine 1 includes an engine body 2, a distributor 3 incorporating a crank angle sensor and an AC generator 5 which is driven by the engine 1 through a V-belt 4. There is provided a means for detecting variations in torque, composed of an FV converter 9, a high-pass filter 10 allowing high frequency components alone to pass therethrough and a power amplifier for amplifying a signal. The output of this power amplifier 11 is delivered to a field magnetic coil in the AC generator 5. With this arrangement, no excessive torsional vibration is generated, thereby it is possible to reduce noise.
