Luggage trolleys are known which, when pushed together to form a nest, can only be shunted if a rear luggage trolley in each case somewhat raises part of the luggage trolley in each case in front. Only then are the automatic brakes of these trolleys deactivated. A disadvantage is the high outlay on force which is then to be produced if the luggage trolleys are to be pushed into one another. In order to achieve this, the invention proposes a manually movable luggage trolley (1), in which a substantial part of its platform (18) is designed as a cantilever extending in the direction of travel, in which furthermore there are provided at the lower ends of the hollow posts (11) openings (29), in which a crossbar (28), running between the hollow posts (11), is guided and is connected to the brake rods (15), and in which trolley there are provided between the platform (18) and the wheel frame (4) stops (30) which are intended for deflecting the crossbar (28) of a luggage trolley (1') situated in front. <IMAGE>
