PURPOSE:To titled composition, obtained by incorporating an aqueous emulsion resin with an inorganic filler, phosphoric acid ester, inorganic fibers and water in a specific proportion, having improved fire resistance with little shrinkage after filling and a small volume of HC1 gas emitted in combustion and useful for cable penetrating part, etc. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by incorporating (A) 8-15wt.%. based on the solid, aqueous emulsion resin, e.g. polyvinyl acetate emulsion, with (B) 40-70 wt.% inorganic filler, e.g. calcium carbonate, (C) 1-10wt.% phosphoric acid ester, e.g. tricresyl phosphate, (D) 1-5wt.% inorganic fibers, e.g. asbestos having about 0.5-15mm length and (E) <=20 wt.% water.
