PURPOSE:To obtain a horn loudspeaker whose reproducing frequency range is wide, and also whose characteristic is scarcely deteriorated, by forming a throat part to an annular shape having an uneven part. CONSTITUTION:A throat part 12 is an annular shape having an uneven part, therefore, an opening part of the throat part 12 opposed to a diaphragm 1 is not placed on the same periphery. Accordingly, a cavity resonance of a cavity part 16 which has been constituted of the diaphragm 1, a horn 14 and a phase equalizer 15 is not generated by the same frequency, and a dispersed resonance characteristic is shown. Also, a sound wave generated from the diaphragm 1 is radiated partially and directly into the horn, by which it is scarcely influenced by deterioration of a frequency generated by a vibration mode of the diaphragm. In this way, a horn loudspeaker whose characteristic is scarcely deteriorated, and also whose reproducing frequency band is wide can be obtained.
