PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route providing device, a route providing method, and a program which efficiently provide a user with an appropriate route.SOLUTION: A shortest route extraction part extracts the shortest route which has the shortest distance from among routes that lead to a destination. A candidate routes extraction part extracts, as candidate routes, routes of which distances are within a range from the distance of the shortest routes on the basis of a threshold value, from among routes that lead to the destination. An identification part 103 identifies obstacles that exist on the candidate routes. An information acquisition part 104 acquires operation information by which determination can be made as to whether the obstacles that are identified by the identification part 103 are controlled to be in an open state which permits passing of a user or to be in a closed state which does not permit passing of the user at a given time. A time acquisition part 102 acquires actual required times of the candidate routes including waiting time caused by the obstacles that exist on the candidate routes on the basis of the operation information. A providing part 106 provides the user with a recommended route on the basis of the actual required times of the candidate routes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
