PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shape a crater part into a sound shape in the crater control of two-wire welding.SOLUTION: In a crater control method for two-wire welding performed, during a steady period, by generating arc between a welding wire and a base material, and by feeding a filler wire into a molten pool formed by this arc at an insertion position rearward of the weld wire, during a crater control period, a welding target position a of a welding wire is stopped by continuing the feed of the welding wire and the filler wire to keep arc generated, and crater control is performed while an insertion position b of the filler wire is being rotated on a circumference indicated by broken lines with the welding target position a serving as the center point. This enables the filler wire to be inserted from all the circumferential directions, so that a crater part of sound shape can be formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
