The invention relates to all spacers for laying tiles according to the Patent Claim. Spacers known today have the disadvantage that, after laying the tiles or after setting with the cement mortar, they can only be removed with difficulty. In this case, it is envisaged that they are to remain in the working position. In practice, however, it has emerged that the spacers, before pointing, are either pushed completely backwards or pulled out. This operation takes place for the purpose of the spatially uniform pointing of the tile corners with the other tile edges. In the case of the spacers remaining in the working position, it was possible to ascertain for this reason that the pointing at the tile edges chips off to a greater extent after some time. Most pointing faults are to be found in the tile corners. By arranging a bore/rib or a pin according to the Patent Claim, the disadvantages are eliminated.
