PURPOSE:To obtain a laminate type electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity and very low residual potential even after a durability test by using a specified polycyclic quinone pigment in the charge generating layer of a laminate type electrophotographic sensitive body and a specified hydrazone compound in the charge transferring layer. CONSTITUTION:When a charge generating layer and a charge transferring layer are formed on an electrically conductive support to obtain a laminate type electrophotographic sensitive body, a layer contg. a polycyclic quinone pigment represented by formula I is used as the charge generating layer and a layer contg. a hydrazone compound represented by formula II is used as the charge transferring layer. In the formula II, each of R1 and R2 is optionally substituted alkyl or aryl, N or a group of atoms forming a 5- or 6-membered ring, each of R3 and R4 is alkyl, aryl, N or a group of atoms forming a 5- or 6-membered ring, each of R5 and R6 is H, halogen, nitro, alkyl, alkoxyl, unsubstituted aryloxy, acyl or amino, and R is an org. residue. |
