The invention relates to a force and/or torque sensor device intended in particular to measure forces and/or torques in a corrosive fluid medium flowing in a pipe. The device comprises an element in the form of a symmetric beam 10 extending inside the pipe, which comprises a free end 12 intended to receive the force and/or the torque to be measured, a rigid base 14 intended to be fixed to the internal face of a wall 16 of the said pipe, in the region of an opening 16a in the said wall, and an intermediate part 11 in which two longitudinal openings 24, 26, which are open on the outside, are formed; and at least two sensors 28, 30 of the extensometric gauge type are disposed in two regions of a measurement plane 22 consisting of at least a part of the face of the base 14 open on the outside via the said opening 16a. In this way, bending of the free end 12 and of the intermediate part 11 of the beam 10, caused by the force and/or the torque to be measured, is converted into internal compressive and tensile stresses which have substantially the same amplitude in the regions in which the sensor elements are disposed. <IMAGE>
