PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact cutting device capable of adjusting a load for sandwiching a cut object, and a printing device.SOLUTION: A cutting mechanism 100 comprises: a pedestal 180; a cutting blade; a link member 220; and a cam part 215. The pedestal 180 comprises a tube arranged thereon. The cutting blade can move from a sandwiching position for sandwiching a tube between it and the pedestal 180 to a contact position for contacting the pedestal 180. The link member 220 rotates from a sandwiching rotation position to a contact rotation position, thereby moving the cutting blade to the contact position from the sandwiching position. The cam part 215 is a rotation member being rotated by a DC motor. The cam part 215 rotates from a first intermediate rotation position to a first finish rotation position, thereby rotating the link member 220 from the sandwiching rotation position to the contact rotation position. A press pin 215A of the cam part 215 rotates to the first intermediate rotation position and then presses a first arm part 231 of a torsion spring 235 disposed on the link member 220.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
