PURPOSE:To convert a direction of a magnetic flux without changing a direction of motion of the magnetic flux by connecting the upper electrode of the first Josephson line to the lower electrode of the second Josephson line and the lower electrode of the first Josephson line to the upper electrode of the second Josephson line respectively through a resistance or a superconductor. CONSTITUTION:When a current is input in input terminals 40 and 41 in a direction designated by real line, a counterclockwise cyclic current proceeds from a junction 42 to a junction 44. When the junction 44 becomes a voltage state, a current flows from the under part of the junction 45 to the upward. Though the junction 45 becomes a voltage state, the generated voltage is of opposite sign to that of the junction 44, so that a clockwise cyclic current is generated which proceeds from the junction 45 to the junction 46. During these steps, a direction of the magnetic flux is inverted without changing a direction of motion of the magnetic flux. If the input cyclic current is directed oppositely to that in figure, the same inversion is done. Accordingly, soliton is converted to anti-soliton or vice versa. |
