This invention relates to polyester fiber which has improved dyeing property. The polyester fiber is composed of ethylene terephthalate copolymer. This fier has the following propeties; Xc(%)<=-700x ΔN+110, 90≦̸C<=Tmax<=107≦̸C and 0.135<=(tan )max<=0.300. The main acid component of the polymer is terephthalate, and the glycol component of the polymer is 80-98% of ethylene glycol and 2-20% of 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol. The winding velocity of the plyester fiber is more than 5000m/min.
