PURPOSE:To separate and remove mixed toner of different kinds by cleaning away the toner mixed from a different developing device onto the outer peripheral surface of a developing sleeve positioned in a development area according to weighting corresponding to the operation state of said different developer so far. CONSTITUTION:The removing process for the mixed toner is weighted according to the state of the operation in which the different developing device is put so far. For example, when the different developing device has performed development five times and the mixture of toner is extremely small, removing operation is not carried out and when the number of times of development is 5-15, the mixed toner in the development area is removed; when the number of times of development is >15, the mixture of toner is large, so even the mixed toner at the inner part including the development area is removed. |
