<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R1 is H or lower alkyl; R2 is H, lower alkyl or acyl which may be substituted by halogen; R3 is halogen, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy) and salt thereof. EXAMPLE:cis-3-Acetylaminomethyl-4-chloropyrrolidine. USE:An intermediate for producing pyridonecarboxylic acid derivatives having antimicrobial activity. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by formula II (Z is -CH2N3 or -CN) or formula III (R'2 is acyl group) is reduced in the presence of a reducing agent, e.g. Pd-C or Raney Ni, in a solvent, e.g. THF or methanol, at 0-80 deg.C for 30 min-24hr while stirring. If R is a protecting group, it is removed from the resultant reaction product to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I.</p> |
