PURPOSE:To prevent a beat and the deterioration in resolution and to obtain a high quality picture by inserting a clock signal into the output signal of a digital RGB signal source and allowing a television side to use said signal as a clock signal for processing a signal. CONSTITUTION:For analogs R, G and B, an inputted synchronizing signal 103 is transmitted to a clock generator circuit 112 through a switch 13. Based on the transmitted synchronizing signal, the clock generator circuit 112 generates a clock, transmits it to a switch 116, and uses for processing a signal. For digital signals R, G and B, while a clock signal is transmitted from an RGB signal source, it is used as it is, and transmitted to a switch 117. When the digitals R, G and B are selected, the switch 117 is closed, and a signal processing circuit uses the clock. |
