The handle folding device comprises a reel shaft defining. An axis of rotation and a tenon formed on an end face of the shaft for rotation on the axis. The tenon includes a notched step at its outer end including a first camming surface disposed generally in parallel with the shaft axis. A handle member including a groove, is mounted on the tenon for pivotal motion about a handle member axis disposed normal to the tenon and the shaft axis, and further disposed to one side of the shaft axis. A trigger member is mounted on the handle member for pivotal motion in the groove about an axis disposed normal to both the shaft axis and the handle member axis. |
