PURPOSE:To obtain a low-cost composition having well-balanced general properties such as impact strength, gloss, fluidity, tensile strength, elongation at break, heat-resistance, etc., by compounding a specific rubber-modified polystyrene with a specific 1,3-butadiene/styrene block copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be produced by compounding (A) 60-95wt% rubber-modified polystyrene containing rubbery polymer dispersed in the form of particles having an average diameter of 0.30-1.00mum with (B) 5-40wt% block copolymer of 1,3-butadiene and styrene wherein the content of butadiene 15-35wt%, the polymer structure is A-B-A-B or A-B-A (A is styrene polymer block; B is polymer block of 1,3-butadiene or composed mainly of the monomer) and the copolymer is dispersed in the form of particles having a minor axis of 0.001-0.05mum and a major axis of 0.001-2.0mum. |
