PURPOSE:To prevent an energy loss and prevent a generation of white smoke in a wet type discharging gas processing device by a method wherein an amount of discharging gas, a temperature and a humidity of the discharging gas and a temperature and a humidity of surrounding atmosphere are supervised to adjust an intake amount of air, and at the same time a heating amount is adjusted. CONSTITUTION:When an outlet gas at a humidity reduction part (T3, H3) G3m<3> and heating air (T2, H1) A1m<3> are mixed with each other, the mixture gas occupies a point D(T4, H4) corresponding to G3 vs A1 on a B-C line. In this case, when the mixture gas is discharged from a chimney at its mixture gas temperature, the mixture gas is cooled with air outside the chimney and its temperature is decreased from T4-T1. In this case, it crosses a saturation vapor pressure curve 7 as indicated by a dotted line and it goes above the curve, so that moisture content is condensed and the gas becomes a white smoke and is discharged out of the chimney. Thus, the mixture gas is reheated up to TE of a point E (HE, TE) which is an intersection of H4 and a white smoke preventive condition equation H=aT+b, thereby the smoke does not become a white smoke and the gas can be discharged.
