PURPOSE:To execute a measurement with a high reliability by separating and removing an unnecessary liquid such as an emulsion and an oil mist, etc. which are mixed into a fluid in a system in the pre-stage of a measuring instrument, by a coagulating separator. CONSTITUTION:An unnecessary liquid which is mixed into a treating fluid is separated and removed by connecting a coagulating separator into a system of the pre-stage of a measuring instrument, and the fluid which has become clean is made to flow into the measuring instrument and measured. That is to say, the coagulating separator 3 is constituted by providing an operating part consisting of a reservoir chamber 6 connected to an inlet port 4, a guidance pipe 7 connected to the reservoir chamber 6, and a cylindrical coagulating and separating cartridge 8 which has been attached so that it can be attached, detached and replaced, to the tip of the guidance pipe 7, on the inside of a casing 4 provided with the inlet port 4, and providing an outlet port 9, and a drain port 10 on the upper part of the casing 5 and the lower part, respectively. Also, the inlet port 4 and the outlet port 9 are connected into the system.
