PURPOSE:To obtain a worked Al alloy product having superior wear resistance and causing no thermal deformation by heat treating an Al alloy blank contg. Si at a temp. in the vicinity of the temp. to which the finished product of the blank is exposed for a time longer than the time for which the finished product is exposed to the temp. and by subjecting the heat treated blank to a finish working. CONSTITUTION:An Al alloy blank contg. Si is heat treated at a temp. in the vicinity of about 200 deg.C to which the finished product of the blank is exposed, preferably at 180-250 deg.C for a time longer than the time for which the finished product is exposed to about 200 deg.C, preferably for 2-100hr. The heat treated Al alloy blank is allowed to cool to ordinary temp. in the air and subjected to the finish working such as printing to obtain a worked Al alloy product such as the end plate of a making up roll for gravure, a vane or a shoe disk.
