<p>PURPOSE:To easily adjust the content of phosphorus with a decreased loss of phosphorus and to produce a phosphorous copper by carrying electrolysis while suspending phosphorus powder, etc. into a copper electrolyte and heating and annealing the formed composite copper-phosphorus electrodeposition matter. CONSTITUTION:The electrolysis is carried out while the phosphorus or the phosphorus compd. powder insoluble in the electrolyte is suspended in the copper electrolyte. The copper electrolyte preferably contains about 10-100g/l copper sulfate and about 10-300g/l sulfuric acid. Red phosphorus powder, Cu3P, etc., are used for the phosphorus powder, etc., and the grain size thereof is preferably about 1-10mu. The cathode current density is specified to about 2-10A/dm<2> and the liquid temp. to about 20-60 deg.C in the case of a copper sulfate electrolyte. The composite copper-phosphorus electrodeposition matter formed by the electrolysis is annealed for about 30-120min at about 400-600 deg.C. The evaporation of the phosphorus is thereby substantially obviated and the phosphorus content in the copper is easily adjusted in the production process the phosphorous copper.</p> |
