<p>PURPOSE:To improve the flatness of a sheet or a hard material products by providing an intermediate roll movable in a roll axial direction with a roll chock and disposing a bending device of the intermediate roll for this roll chock. CONSTITUTION:The intermediate rolls 13, 14 supported rotatably with metal chocks 15, 16 are disposed for the work rolls of a six-high rolling mill. Furthermore, the each metal chock 15, 16 is disposed on moving blocks 17, 18 capable of moving in the roll axial direction, and hydraulic rams 19, 20 and 21, 22 actuating bending forces to the intermediate rolls 13, 14 are built in the blocks 17, 18. In this mechanism, a shape of rolling material, a sheet crown are controlled by using together with the movement in the axial direction of the intermediate rolls 13, 14 and the regulation of the bending force. Therefore, the flatness of the sheet or the hard material products is improved.</p> |
