PURPOSE:To facilitate both overspreading and detaching operations of a cover, by installing the haul overspreading cover on a carrier body capable of entering into an empty space beneath a pallet dissociably by an expansible connecting rod at both front and rear ends of the cover. CONSTITUTION:At the time of conveyance of a haul B on a pallet 2, first a hydraulic cylinder 19 inside an external cylinder 12a constituting an expansible connecting rod 12 in two pairs of connecting mechanisms D in front and in the rear is extended in motion and a cover 10 is moved up and down whereby it is held on an upper moving end. Next, a carrier body 1 is traveled, and when somewhere around a tip of the cover 10 is mounted on the pallet 2, the hydraulic cylinder 19 at the front side in a processing direction is contacted into motion, and a connected state between an internal cylinder 12b and a cover bracket 16 is dissociated. Under this state, the carrier body 1 is advanced up to an admission end inside the pallet 2 and then a jack-up mechanism being attached to each running wheel 3 is operated, lifting up the pallet 2 together with the body 1, and the pallet 2 is mounted on the body 1.
