发明名称 MELT REDUCTION STEEL MAKING METHOD
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To efficiently and directly produce steel from iron ore by throwing carbon for reduction into an iron bath of a seed melt and thoroughly mixing the same when the carbon content in said bath attains to a specific content and properly taking out the formed slag and molten steel in the stage of continuously producing the molten steel with an oxygen converter. CONSTITUTION:The iron bath 2 of the seed melt is first charged into the top and bottom blown converter 1 in the stage of producing the molten steel having <=1% carbon content directly from the iron ore. Oxygen is blown from a lance 4 into the converter and at the same time, a required amt. of coal, etc., are continuously charged therein while an iron source such as iron ore is continuously charged into the furnace. Blowing is executing by blowing oxygen through a bottom blowing tuyere 5. The supply of the coal is not executed until the carbon content attains to <=1% if the iron bath 2 is the molten iron contg. bout 4% carbon. The supply of the coal necessary for the melt reduction of the iron ore is executed at the point of the time when the desired concn. of <=1% is attained. Gaseous nitrogen or the like is at the same time kept blown at about >=0.05Mn<3>/min bath ton at all times from the bottom blowing tuyere and the formed slag 3 and molten steel 2 are continuously discharged from a tap hole 6.</p>
