SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To enhance the MTF value of a photosensitive material in a high frequency region by incorporating a compound which reacts with the oxidized product of a developing agent and releases eliminable groups capable of changing the photographic action by an intermolecular reaction and a filter dye into the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:A compound which reacts with the oxidized product of a developing agent and releases eliminable groups of different kinds or the same kind capable of changing the photographic action by an intermolecular reaction is incorporated into a photosensitive material, and a nondiffusible green absorbing dye and/or a nondiffusible red absorbing dye as a filter dye is incorporated into a nonphotosensitive layer. The compound used is preferably represented by the formula and the preferred amount of the compound added is 0.0001-0.1mol per 1mol silver halide. Any filter dye which is added during the formation of a nonphotosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer in a state for producing a color photosensitive material and remains practically in the hydrophilic colloidal layer after the production without causing diffusion in other layer may be used as the filter dye.
