PURPOSE:To determine an output of the uppermost digit by a simple circuit constitution, by providing a track which has been expressed by a single distance code by delimiting a necessary number of splits to blocks of every 100 split and fraction blocks of <=100, and a code plate provided with a track for discriminating these respective blocks. CONSTITUTION:Blocks 11-14 are constituted of seven tracks of, for instance, T0-T6, and split into 100 addresses by a pattern of light and darkness of each track. In this case,only the block 14 is split into 60. In this state, a code train of 100 pieces which have been obtained by removing 28 pieces of the center from a Gray code train of 128 pieces corresponding to, for instance, 0-127 is expressed by [A], and allocated to the block 11. In this way, a code train of 360 pieces consisting of the blocks 11-14 is obtained, but since the same ode exists in every block, a track 15 for discriminating a block is provided. |
