PURPOSE:To make a heat treatment of a hot rolled wire rod which is laminated to a coil shape by utilizing the heat of hot rolling under desired conditions by transferring the wire rod from a coil taking out device to a heat treatment device, subjecting the wire rod to the heat treatment while conveying the same and ejecting the treated wire with a delivery device. CONSTITUTION:The laminated coil-like wire rod 2A on an intermediate table 14 is imposed on a carriage body 31 by rising of a lift device 37 and the carriage body 31 is moved in the direction of an arrow (a). The coil 2A is stopped in the position in front of a charging door 52 of the heat treatment device. The coil taking out device 30 is then rotated 90 deg. by a driving device 48 and the coil taking out device 30 is advanced to transfer the coil 2A on a coil receiving base 43 in a furnace body 51. Conveying chains 57, 57A are driven by the operation of the driving device 59 to move the base 53 in an arrow direction by a distance (p) when the coil 2A is transferred on the base 53. The prescribed heat treatment is thus executed. An ejection door 54 is opened when the coil 2A conveyed in the body 51 arrives at a coil extraction position (x). The coil delivery device 70 is then advanced into the body 51 and the coil 2A is ejected to the outside of the furnace. |
