PURPOSE:To obtain a transducer of light weight and excellent acoustic radiation efficiency by utilizing not only the translation displacement of a front mass for performing an acoustic radiation but also a rigid rotation displacement due to an inflection deformation. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric ceramic laminate member 13 having a through hole therein is disposed between the front mass 11 and a rear mass 12 and a bolt 14 for applying the compression stress to the piezoelectric ceramic laminate member through the through hole is provided. When the piezoelectric laminate member 13 is extended piezoelectrically, the bolt 14 is not extended piezoelectrically, so the front mass 11 is deflected. To the inflection front mass 11, the rigid body translation displacement by the extension of the piezoelectric ceramic laminate member 13 is applied, it is displaced as shown by broken lines a-a' to b-b', and the capacity for discharging the medium is further improved. By setting the outer diameter of the inflection front mass 11 to the value several times or the like of the outer diameter of the piezoelectric laminate member 13, the transducer of compact size and the light weight can be easily obtained.
