PURPOSE:To quickly and stably obtain photographic characteristics of super hard contrast and high sensitivity with an automatic developing machine using a hardening fixer without trouble in a drying characteristic by using a developing soln. contg. specific components and having 11.0-12.3pH value. CONSTITUTION:An exposed negative type silver halide photographic sensitive material is developed in the presence of hydrazines by the developing soln. contg. >=0.25mol/l developing agent, sulfite, >=1.6g/l amine compd. and boron compd. which are hard contrast accelerators and having 11.0-12.3pH value. The developing agent contains preferably dihydroxybenzenes as good dot quality is easily obtainable and further a combination of the dihydroxybenzenes and 1-phenyl-3-pyrazolidones or a combination of the dihydroxybenzenes and p- aminophenols is more preferable in terms of developing capacity. |
