PURPOSE:To facilitate the replacement of a disk by providing an air-flow generating device, and blowing the air flow generated by the said device against the sliding parts of a head and a disk. CONSTITUTION:A spindle motor 1 is made in one body with the air-flow generating device 5. The disk 2 is provided by plating CoNi on an A base plate by means of electroless plating. As for an actuator 3, its head 4 and the air flow nozzle 6 are movable for each track, and for the head 4, common winchester type head is used. The nozzle 6 is made of Al and is a cylinder with 5mm diameter. The nozzle is mounted in such a way that the center axis of the cylinder is directed to the center of the read/write gap of the head 4. Also, the nozzle is inclined by 15 deg. against the disk plane so that the air flow hits the surface of the disk.
