The lifting unit has pick-ups (18) which extend or are distributed along a major part of its length. Drives (26) for the pick-ups activate then in effective work directions coinciding with the lifting unit longitudinal direction. The pick-ups are so arranged that without sliding they can grip against the underside of a load for feeding it on or off the lifting unit. |
