PURPOSE:To easily connect the connector of a developing device side to the connector of a recording device body side by fitting the connector of the recording device side to which the connector of the developing device side is connected to the recording device body through a spring. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the developing device 12 is moved on the horizontal wall 30 of a machine body 29 at right angles to the shaft of a photosensitive drum 10 from the state in which the developing device 12 is mounted on the frame body 29 as shown in a figure, the connector 50 of the developing device 12 moves in the same direction. At this time, the connector 49 of the side of the machine body 29 to which the connector 50 of the developing device 12 is connected also moves along with the connector 50 of the developing device 12 by the movement of a connector fitting plate 62 on the side wall 61 of the machine body along a slot 72. After the developing device 12 is drawn away from the photosensitive drum 10 and drawn out to the front side on the horizontal wall 30 of the machine frame 29, the connector 50 of the developing device 12 is extracted from the connector 49 of the machine body side and the developing device 12 is taken out from the top of the machine body 29.
