PURPOSE:To perform accurate transfer of angle even at transfer of a long distance, by a method wherein rotational angle of a disk is transferred as digital signals of square wave. CONSTITUTION:A photo encoder 3 is installed so as to grasp a disk 2. The photo encoder 3 outputs signals composed of two square waves phiA and phiB where outputs are inverted per definite rotation of the disk 2, and phase difference is 90 deg. from each other, and lead relation of phase is changed corresponding to the rotational direction of the disk 2. The square waves phiA and phiB are inputted to a drive signal generator 5 and the signals are inputted to a drive circuit 6 and its output is applied to a step motor 4, thereby disk rotational angle theta is transferred as step motor rotational angle theta'. |
