PURPOSE:To simplify and facilitate production of a film ribbon, by separately producing film ribbons having a width equal to one half of the width of a base film, and adhering the half-width film ribbons to the base film, in producing an elongate belt form film ribbon. CONSTITUTION:A base film 20 with a width W is produced, and film ribbons 21, 22 having a width (W/2) equal to one half of the width of the base film 20 are separately produced. The half-width film ribbon 21, 22 is produced by applying an ink paste 21B, 22B to the entire area of one side of a film base 21A, 22A formed from the same material as that of the base film 20. The half- width film ribbons 21, 22 are adhered respectively to the face and back sides of the base film 20, in half-width regions opposite to each other, with the film bases 21A, 22A in contact with the base film 20 by an adhesive, thereby producing an elongate belt from film ribbon 1A. The film ribbon 1A is twisted half a turn, then both end surfaces are jointed to each other by adhesive tape pieces 23, 24. Thus, the layers of the ink pastes 21B, 22B of the half-width film ribbons 21, 22 are connected in a double Mobius loop form. |
