PURPOSE:To prevent the temp. drop of a molten iron and desiliconization slag and to prevent the desiliconization slag forming generated in a molten iron transport vessel by blowing a flame toward the down flow direction of the molten iron by a burner provided on a spout such as tapping spout installed to a blast furnace casting bed. CONSTITUTION:A desiliconizing agent 8 is blown from a lance 2 to the molten iron 6 and the desiliconization slag 7 is generated by a desiliconization reaction. A cap 5 which can be opened and shut by an electric winch or the like for prevention of temp. drop is used in order to prevent the slag forming in this case. The temp. drop of the molten iron is prevented and the fluidity of the slag 7 are assured by using a heating burner 3, by which the generation of the slag forming by the decrease of the slag viscosity in the molten iron transport vessel 9 is prevented. More specifically, the reactive gas generated at the boundary face between the molten iron and the desiliconization slag is made easily passable through the slag and therefore, the slag forming is suppressed and the amt. of the iron to be received is increased.
