摘要

A plasmid vector which is derivable by mutation of a broad host range plasmid such that it exists in a higher copy number mutant thereof which copy number is preferably temperature controllable. Such plasmid vectors may be used to control expression of foreign genes in a broad range of bacterial hosts.
