PURPOSE:To distinguish the adhered quantity of a special polarity solvent by visual observation and make it uniform by a method wherein wholly aromatic polyimide-amide resin in a state in which a solvent can be reactivated, is coated on a wire insulated with wholly aromatic polyimide-amide resin, and the special polarity solvent which is used to reactivate said resin is colored and adhered thereon. CONSTITUTION:An insulated wire, on which wholly aromatic polyimide-amide resin is baked, is used as a winding 2 to be used for a coil. The wholly aromatic polyimide-amide resin in a state wherein a solvent can be reactivated is coated on the insulated wire, and also said wholly aromatic polyimide-amide resin is coated on the surface of a bobbin 1. Dimethylacetamide is used as a special polarity solvent with which the above-mentioned resin is activated, and this solvent is colored with an organic dyestuff in advance. The quantity of the special polarity solvent adhered to the surface of the winding 2 can be distin guished by the shade of color of the organic dyestuff added to the solvent. The quantity of dripped solvent is adjusted while a visual observation is being conducted, and the adhered quantity of the solvent is controlled.
