PURPOSE:To easily enable user side to change and confirm the content of option parameter by providing a nonvolatile memory in which option parameter and key word function are stored. CONSTITUTION:When option parameter stored in a nonvolatile memory 4 is displayed in a CRT 8, an operator operates a cursor key provided in a keyboard 9 and shifts the cursor onto the option parameter to be rewritten. When it is desired to make the function effective, '1' is inputted by a numerical key, and when desired to make the function ineffective, '0' is inputted by a numerical key. That is, in the case where an operator of a user makes rewriting of option parameter, an NC maker teaches key words corresponding to key word functions. A microprocessor 1 permits rewriting of option parameter only once when key words corresponding to key word functions are inputted.
