PURPOSE:To make equipment for mixed firing of coal and gaseous fuel and at the same time prevent metallic parts in a fluidized bed from being corroded by reduction with gaseous fuel, erroded with fluid medium and the like by a constitution wherein the position of gas injected from the gas nozzle provided in the fluidized bed is made higher at all times in the fluidized bed than the position of air injected from the air nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A large number of gas nozzles 8 are attached on gas pipings 9 installed onto the bottom in a fluidized bed 2 so as to be arranged among air nozzles 12 in order to constitute both gas nozzle jets 8a and air nozzle jets 12a in such a manner that the position of fuel injected from the gas nozzle jet 8a is flush with or higher than the position of air injected from the air nozzle jet 12a in the fluidized bed 2. Because both the nozzles are arranged uniformly in the horizontal plane of the fluidized bed 2, the contact efficiency of the gaseous fuel and the air is good and consequently the favorable combustion of the gaseous fuel becomes fully possible and no bad effect is exerted to the combustion characteristics of solid fuel, even in the mixed firing of the solid fuel and the gaseous fuel.
