The swivel motion of a firearm (31) about its elevation axis (10) is transmitted to a direction collimator (32) which pivots on a fixed bracket (25) by a linkage system so arranged that is does not get damaged as a result of an obstruction. This is by virtue of the fact that the linkage system comprises a number of two- armed, fixed levers (15, 18, 21) interconnected by a corresponding number of link bars (12, 17, 20), allowing the linkage system to negotiate an obstacle instead of forming a straight, troublesome link between the collimator and the gun. <IMAGE> |
