PURPOSE:To prevent undesired wear of an engagement section by providing the engagement section displaced to a position engaged with a shutter in response to the state of a detection section detecting the loading of a disk cassette provided with the shutter freely switched. CONSTITUTION:When a disk cassette 1 is loaded in a cassette holder 6, a lever 13 is driven clockwise against a force of a spring 15, a tip of a folded part 16 enters a holder 6 through an opening section 6b and fitted in the opening 2a. The tip of the arm 17 is engaged with the engage section 2b at the same time, pushed an elastic member 5 being a lock member to release the lock, the ridge of the shutter 2 is pushed to open the shutter 2. On the other hand, in unloading the disk cassette 1, the cassette 1 is moved in a direction while being parted from the holder 6 and since the tip of the folded part 16 is in the opening 2a of the shutter 2, the shutter 2 is closed, a lever 13 is driven counter clockwise by a force of the spring 15 and the tip of the folded part 16 is detached from the shutter 2. Thus, since the tip of the folded part 16 is not contacted with the elastic member 5, the elastic force of the elastic member 5 is not weakened.
