PURPOSE:To simplify a circuit by using an equalizing circuit whose frequency loss characteristic has an inverse characteristic to the longest transmission line connected to a CMI signal input so as to equalize an input CMI signal, amplifying the signal by a broad band amplifier circuit and limiting the result by a limit circuit so as to obtain the recovered output CMI signal. CONSTITUTION:The titled recovery circuit is provided with an equalization circuit 2, a broad band amplifier circuit 4 and a limit circuit 6. Since the input CMI signal 1 has passed a prescribed long coaxial cable (not shown), the signal is subjected to waveform deterioration arid becomes a signal waveform as shown in figure 103, which enters the equalizing circuit 2. Since the equalizing circuit 2 prevents the waveform deterioration due to the preceding/succeeding pulse interference even if the Nyquist interval of the pulse is not kept constant, the level of a fundamental frequency is made constant by keeping the equalization to that of the frequency region up to the transmission bit rate, and the roll-off characteristic around 50% is given to output a signal of signal waveform 104 without waveform deterioration. The signal waveform 104 is amplified by a broad band amplifier circuit 4, limited by the limit circuit 6 to form a signal waveform 105 of the output CMI signal 7.
