<p>PURPOSE:To complete gear-ratio changeover operation positively by applying low voltage to a main motor when gears are not engaged perfectly. CONSTITUTION:Breakers 11, 12, 15, 16 are closed on normal travelling. When varying a driving gear ratio, a selecting circuit is changed over. In this case, the breakers 11, 12, 16 are opened while the breaker 15 is closed. When a main circuit is turned OFF and a car is stopped, a transmission shaft 3 is driven in the right direction through an air cylinder. When each gear 1a and 3a and 3c and 2b is not engaged normally, a contactor 17 is closed, and low voltage is applied to respective motor M1-M4 and field systems F1-F4. Accordingly, an input shaft 1 is turned at low speed, and the tooth surfaces of gears for each shaft 1-3 are conformed mutually. When respective gear is mutually engaged normally, the contactor 17 is opened, and revolution and drive at low speed of the input shaft 1 are stopped.</p> |
