PURPOSE:To integrally bond a head main body and a nozzle plate without using an adhesive sheet, by mounting a nozzle plate having nozzles each having a predetermined diameter positioned corresponding to an ink passage and bonded to the end surface of the head main body on one surface side thereof and a bonding member integrally bonding said nozzle plate and the head main body. CONSTITUTION:Nozzles 3a, guide holes 3b and filling holes 3e are provided to a nozzle plate 3 comprising a thermoplastic resin. The nozzle plate 3 is positioned and arranged so as to be engaged with the bonding surface 1c of a head main body 1 and guide pins 1b are positioned and arranged so as to be engaged with the guide holes 3b. The head main body 1 and the nozzle plate 3 are hermetically mounted to a mold having an inner surface corresponding to the outer surface of a bonding frame 5 and a thermoplastic resin plasticized under heating is pushed in the spaces of the inner surface of the mold, the head main body 1 and the outer surface of the nozzle plate 3. The thermoplastic resin is also pushed in the groove 1d and filling holes 1e of the head main body 1 and the filling holes 3e of the nozzle plate 3 to achieve function increasing mechanical bonding. After the thermoplastic resin is cooled and cured, when the mold is detached, the resin part forms the bonding frame 5 and the head main body 1 is strongly bonded to the nozzle plate 3. |
