<p>PURPOSE:To realize high operability and high working efficiency, by changing a menu appropriately corresponding to the available status of an instruction. CONSTITUTION:A menu generating means 505 receives the data of instruction designating frequency by a user, the data representing the conceptional including relation of a menu item, the data representing the upper limit of the number of the menu items possible to be placed at the low-order rank by each conceptional item, and the menu which satisfies the including relation stated above, and satisfies the including relation, and generates the menu in which the weighted mean value of the number of times of item selection required for instruction designation, regarding the above stated designation frequency, is smaller than the said weighted mean value in a received menu. The user, or a system operation manager can decides the degree of importance of each instruction corresponding to a purpose, and the menu generating means 505, by using the degree of importance, and the data of the conceptional including relation of the menu item, etc., generates the menu automatically, thereby, the user or the system operation manager can obtain the menu with a few time and labor, in which the rank relation of the menu item is naturally arranged, and which is suitable for the purpose.</p> |
