PURPOSE:To continuously measure the turbidity of a specimen, by using a probe having two-system optical fibers and a specimen passing part incorporated therein. CONSTITUTION:A probe having two-system optical fibers 3, 5 and a specimen passing part 4 incorporated therein is mounted to a tank having a specimen received therein. A light distributing optical fiber 3 is connected to a light emitting part 2 and the light receiving optical fiber 5 is connected to a light receiving part 6 to measure the turbidity of the specimen without sampling the specimen. Since a driving magnet 13 is rotated by the rotation of a motor 11 through a flexible shaft 12, a rotor 14 comprising a magnet rotates and the specimen around the rotor is scattered by centrifugal force to flow out from a specimen outflow port 15 and the specimen continuously flows in the tank from a specimen inflow port 16 so as to replenish the specimen having flowed out. |
