PURPOSE:To permit various uses in addition to air conditioning by an installation without occupying so much space, by a method wherein a bed receiving case is received into a recess at the inside of a wall and a ventilating passageway is formed in a space at the outside of the bed receiving case while an indoor machine is arranged in the recess to blow air into a room through the ventilating passageway. CONSTITUTION:A bed receiving case 3 is arranged in a recess 1 formed at the inside of a wall 2 while the bed receiving case 3 can be received under a condition that a bed 4 is stored uprightly. Upon room cooling, a ventilating passageway 5 at the back side of the bed receiving case 3 is closed by a damper 12 and the blow-off air of an indoor machine 8 is sent into a room through the upper ventilating passageway 9 of the bed receiving case 3. When the bed 4 is desired to be dried or warmed, the upper ventilating passageway 9 is closed and the lower front part of the bed receiving case 3 is closed by the damper 13 whereby the blow-off air is made to flow into the bed receiving case 3. According to this method, an effective space in the room may be enlarged and the cooling, heating and drying of the bed 4 as well as the drying of clothings or the like may be effected in addition to air conditioning. |
