PURPOSE:A composition for foam providing foam with uniform, fine and stable cell state, having improved processing workability, obtained by blending vinyl chloride resin with a modified vinyl ester-ethylene copolymer, an azodicarboxylic acid blowing agent and a metallic salt of fatty acid. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin is blended with (B) 1-50pts.wt. modified vinyl ester-ethylene copolymer prepared by polymerizing (ii) a polar vinyl monomer having 8.5-15 solubility parameter, such as methyl (meth) acrylate, etc., in the presence of (i) 100pts.wt. vinyl ester-ethylene copolymer, preferably copolymer which comprises 90-40wt% vinyl ester and 10-60wt% ethylene and has 5-50 Mooney viscosity, (C) 1-20pts.wt. azodicarboxylic acid type blowing agent and (D) 0.5-10pts.wt. metallic salt of fatty acid, preferably bivalent metallic salt of 8-22C (un)saturated carboxylic acid. |
