PURPOSE:To expand the serving area of one radio base station substantially, by arranging a repeater between the radio base station and a radio terminal, and providing a new serving area at the repeater. CONSTITUTION:It is assumed that a section A is the serving area of the radio base station 3, and an automobile radio telephone 2 is positioned outside the serving area A. Also it is assumed that the repeater 1 is provided between the radio base station 3, and the automobile radio telephone 2, and the repeater 1 is positioned within the serving area A, and the automobile radio telephone 2 is positioned within an area B possible to be served by the repeater 1. On the repeater 1, a proper identification number is attached and registered in advance, and when the automobile radio telephone 2 transmits an outgoing call signal, or an incoming response signal, the repeater 1 attaches the proper identification number of the repeater 1 on the outgoing call signal, or the incoming response signal of the automobile telephone 2, to enable the radio base station 3 to discriminate it from a signal from the automobile telephone in the serving area A, and performs relaying and processing. |
